Print Not Dead

Print Not Dead

Contrary to the belief that print is a dying media, it still is one of the main resources companies use to grab the attention of their target customers. Glossy paper and eye catching images still draw the attention of more people than an e-mail communication that can easily be spammed. In truth, print isn’t going anywhere and is one of the best choices you can make to market yourself. The cost of printing your own postcard and fliers has gone down, making it an affordable alternative to publishing in a newspaper or magazine. Not that you shouldn’t explore that market if your target audience is reading it, but it’s not the only option.

Be Searchable and Look Good

This is not to say that web design, e-mail communications and multi-media advertising is not part of the marketing game. I highly recommend that every company should have a web presence especially in our ever changing and thriving hand held world. Currently, to be a part of the mobile browser world, Flash is not an option. However, there are alternative programming options to keep your web site from laying flat.

Finding Your Identity

Your mark is the the first thing that people look at and will forever identify your company with. Be smart and invest in a logo that will be sustainable through the years, rather than following the right now trend. My method of designing a logo starts with a series of questions to find out deep down who you are and what you want to represent. Then I take your ideas, thoughts and dreams to a sheet of paper and I start developing images that reflect those ambitions.
